Our Favourite Easter Treats

There’s only one small problem with the Easter Bunny, he’s not always that punctual. His late arrival this year means there is still time to hunt some delicious and novelty chocolate treats. We love our holiday seasons at Smithbrook Tuition and with some spare time over the Easter holidays we have been on our own Easter egg hunt around the local area. Here are our favourites that you can still get hold of in time for the weekend.

If you are looking for chocolate to dazzle your eyes before your tastebuds then take a trip down to Hotel Chocolat. This British cocoa grower is filled with amazing treats for all occasions especially the most chocolatey time of year. Easter.

Keep an eye out for this egg with a twist. The Ostrich Egg which includes a kilo of chocolate.

Half 40% milk chocolate, half 50% milk chocolate extra-large egg, plus milk, dark, white and caramel recipes. Over a kilo of chocolate!

For the pun masters about town their miniatures boxset will bring a smile. Woolliam the sheep?

Ok, here you go Mr Smarty Pants. John Lewis has offerings from The Cocoa Bean Company and for your extra chocolate boost try the Smartie Inclusion Easter Egg. It combines Smarties embedded into white chocolate on a milk chocolate egg.

A large, luxurious handmade Easter egg made from the finest Belgian milk chocolate and decorated with white chocolate and candy bean inclusions.

To give your garden egg hunt a fitting nature theme head down to Waitrose to find your woodland treats. Ollie the Owl and his friends will hideout amongst the bushes.

For the themed chocolate gifts Marks and Spencer have a selection of funky chocolate surprises from the movies. Perhaps R2D2 will be making an appearance on Sunday?

We made one final stop on our easter egg hunt. That, of course, was to the local independent chocolate makers Cocoa Loco in Horsham. They are crazy about chocolate and will have you in awe as you walk through the door when greeted by this XL Easter egg.

There is something for everyone in the store including vegan designs. There are more garden themed pieces to go with the woodland critters above and we couldn’t go without including a bunny to top off a chocolatey Easter.

Let us know your favourite Easter moments and follow our #legolearners during their chocolate hunt this weekend.
